The options listed below are not the only hardware you can use with RepairQ, we just know these recommended items are equally compatible with Windows and Mac OS, are easy to configure, and are quality products. Feel free to use your own hardware pieces with RepairQ, and if you would like to share your experience we would love to hear about it.

Recommended labels

The Zebra GK420D works with many different label sizes. We recommend you try out a few different sizes of labels: 2×1, 4×1, or 3×2 and see which one works best for you.

The Dymo Labelwriter 450 works with many different label sizes. The most common on is the standard address label: 1.125″ x 3.5″.

The Brother QL-700 works with many different label sizes. The most common on is the standard address label: 1.14″ x 3.5″ or (10pk).

Regarding label printers for Windows:

If you have an existing label printer, check to see if it is supported by the Seagull Scientific driver. If it is, then chances are you will have the configurability necessary to make printed labels print properly.

Disclaimer: The recommended hardware solutions listed above represent items that we have tested internally, and we have confirmation from a large number of RepairQ users that each item works reliably. However, given the nature of web applications, we cannot control the configuration of the hardware or your computer systems, so it is up to you to configure the hardware accordingly. We will do our best to help you troubleshoot and configure your hardware to work with RepairQ, but it is ultimately up to you to configure it properly.
